Measurement Cables

Besides the characteristic electrical requirements that RF measurement cables must meet, additional characteristics are also of fundamental importance in PIM measurements, without which no reliable measurements are possible in PIM-critical environments.

The preconditions that a PIM-optimized measurement cable must satisfy include

• high quality of assembly work
• selected non-magnetic components in connector design
• optimized connector design featuring few piece parts
• optimized cable design
• stable cable entry which holds the connection between the cable and connector in place

We pay special attention to these points during development and production. The result: measurement cables distinguished by their low PIM product on one hand and their absolutely stable characteristics on the other.

The RG 393 achieves a PIM level better than -165dBc (@ 2x 20W). Thanks to its design, it is also suitable for the transmission of high powers and for frequencies up to 5GHz.
